ships help: starship components

On Cosmic Rage, we like to be unique in everything we do, or attempt to do.
That is why, instead of just your standard hull damage and defensive armour we changed it up a bit and added separate components onto your ship which will require careful attention.
See below a table of damage types and what they will cause.
Keep in mind that should your hull reach 100 percent damaged, no matter what your other components are, your shipp will explode.
Component, description and or function, causes and effects:
weapons: controls whether you can fire your weapons or not, repairable in your ship, at 100 percent damaged, weapons will not fire.
planetary gear: controls whether your ship can land and launch, you will be unable to launch or land if this reaches 100 percent damaged.
safety systems: controls the fire extinguishers and spray bottles in your ship, the higher damaged it is, the less likely the ship is to use the systems.
engines: moves your ship with the speed command, the higher the damage, the lower your max speed
cargo support: defines how strong your cargo bays are. At 100 percent, you will lose debris and mineral expansions entirely.
sensors: defines your scan power, the higher the damage, the less types of scan you can use
Warp core: defines how strong your warp core is. At 100 percent, the warp core will breach, causing the ship to explode if not repaired within five minutes of the breach. The higher the damage goes, the lower your max warp is
Computer Systems: defines how good your computers are. AT higher damages, causes them to lag and bleep at random intervals
Life support: Supports oxygen in your vessel. At 100 percent damaged, anyone without a space suit will die. This critical system also governs the ship's gravitational stabilizers. For every 10% damage to this system, your ship will suffer a 10%loss in gravity. If life support is 80% damaged or more, your ship will lose gravity entirely.
Power systems: Defines how strong your ships power is. At 100 percent, your power will cut out.
Note: AT 40 percent hull damage, your character will find it harder and harder to move around the ship.
Repairations:
To repair defensive armour, weapons and hull damage, you can use a control room, and sometimes, an engineering room.
If your starship engine explodes, you can use a complete engine module to replace it.
To replace the other components, you will need to go to a battle station and use the repair bay that corresponds to the component you wish to repair.

--------

Upgrading:
The repair bays on the battle stations may also serve as upgrade centers for the various components.
To upgrade, simply follow the same steps as in repairation, but type upgrade, rather than repair.

-------------

Commands:
damage: view a list of damaged components.
Repair: in a starship control room or engineering room, repairs your ship. In a battle station repair center, takes you through repairing a component.
upgrade: in a battle station repairation center, upgrades the strength of a component. Components can be made strong up to the point of 150,000 units unless you are in the SDL. It is possible for ships made by an SDL member to exceed the maximum of 150000. How much they can exceed it depends on rank.
View: in a battle station repair center, views the cost of using that station.
Movement : puts in a request for a battle stations position. An example would be:
movement alpha1, state your location
[Movement] A maintenance member: This is maintenance member for Battle Station Alpha1, we are currently located at Sector 03 at coordinates: 0, -324, -100.
Note: It is well worth exploring each station before purchasing an upgrade or repairation, as the prices at each station will vary from time to time.
