The Staff: Hello Everyone! I am very excited to be able to bring you a change to how bolting items works. Previously, if you typed for example: %n is bolted near $sofa, it would show that your item was bolted by your sofa, but then it would also show your sofa's bolt string, too! Now, however, it works differently. If you do %n is bolted by $sofa, it will now show a chair is bolted by a sofa, and not show the sofa's ground string at all. This allows you to build dynamic, flowing descriptions that are no longer restricted by awkward flowing syntax strangeness. Note that, the item who has the $ in their name must be bolted before the item it is referring to, so if you bolt a table: %n is has $chair and $2.chair around it, you must drop the table first and bolt it, then drop the other 2 chairs and bolt them after. The Staff: Hi Everyone! I really hope you enjoyed today's event, destination droid! There will be some follow up facts revealed over the next day or two, as things are revealed from what people found or experienced, so keep your eyes peeled! This event was in part inspired by a throw away comment made by a player about a cool idea and the hosts just kind of ran with it. This was also an awesome test of the new combat system, really stretching it to its limits to see what it can do and what works and what does not. Combat isn't for everyone, so we appreciate this one leant more toward that and hope to balance out with a different event in the new year! As always, please do submit your feedback through the feedback command, tell us what you enjoyed, what you'd like to see, or even what your throw away thoughts are. After all, next it could be you getting stuffed into a droidic sack and kidnapped. erm. I mean, it could be you inspiring a story! Stay cosmic!

The Staff: Hello everyone! This year, starting on new years eve, Cosmic Rage will be doing a celebration for everyone! We know that our players are from all over the place and many different regions and this year we want to celebrate that! If you type musicfm newyear you can type in your region or country and choose a timezone. At midnight on New Years Eve Cosmic Rage will play a small sequence to you to count you down and celebrate the dawn of 2026! to kick the year off the right way, we will be celebrating with you and that may include something extra special for you too, so make sure to sign up! 2026 is going to be big and we can start that with this!

The Staff: Hello players. I am very pleased to be able to bring you some slight changes to how we manage babies here on Cosmic Rage. First, when you submit your baby, there is now a new field, bJustify this is where you can include any times you used extra description to enhance any roleplay you have done around the baby, or also include any notes about how you've been roleplaying out pregnancies or things like that. This helps us in applying discounts to your baby! Additionally when we now approve the baby at our end it no longer just pops up in your inventory. Instead a new item becomes available to you in support. You go to support, hit 4, then it's claim a baby. this allows you to claim your baby at the right time in your story. Enjoy!

The Staff: Hello players! I am extremely excited to be able to bring you a brand new overhauled commend system! previouslyy on cosmic Rage the commend system was a one and done deal. Someone logged in, commended you, played for a while, then left. You got a one time bonus and it was all over. No way to keep track of how many you commended or anything! Not any more! On the login screen, under account statistics, you will now see several new lines such as number of commends along with some exciting new bonuses! Instead of it being one and done, instead now the more your Referee plays, the more reward you get! From 1 star to 4th title, the higher rank they get, you yourself get bonuses on your point payouts! Fun fact, if you get ten people playing cosmic rage all between their 3rd and 4th class, you could be getting double the point payout on everything! After they rank past 4th class, and start going higher, the point rewards stop but instead you start getting rp point bonuses instead! this continues up to their tenth class. But wait, there's more! If they create an alt, you yourself get a discount on your next alt, too! How cool is that! All of this is detailed in help commend, and just to make sure it doesn't get missed new players are prompted at the end of character creation about commending or they can type commend anywhere from within the character generation area. Obviously this will only apply to new commends, because previously you would have received your one time thank you from us! I hope you agree this system is much better and is not only designed to get new people in, but to keep them here! Feedback as always is welcome!
