The Staff: Eli here. I have majorly overhauled the FHelp Factory Ranks help file because it was really out of date. Since we have long since moved away from in IC factory inspection model, I have removed references to the hope that a host will reward cash for reaching factory ranks because it probably isn't ever going to happen. Furthermore, all of the requirements for have been moved back into this help file. They were originally separated before we had the power to smartly divide help files into sections. Now that we can, there is no need to split the help file into seven files. Finally, some things have been clarified regarding description guidelines and common pit falls as well as our stance on AI to describe factories. If you are planning to submit your factory for inspection or have a factory up for inspection at the moment, I highly encourage you to give it a read. Feedback is always welcome.

The Staff: Good evening players! As we make the run towards our tenth birthday, and in collaboration with ideas from us and the htpl's, I am very pleased to be able to bring you an extension to our commend system. As you know if you recommend a player to cosmic Rage, you receive boosted rewards for a significant time as long as they continue to level up. Well, now similar can be done with returning players. We have introduced a concept called OOC mystery boxes. Claim these by typing OOC box. when a player returns to cosmic Rage who has been absent since 3 or more months, they can type commend and identify who recommended they came back. When they return they will get an OOC box, and you as the person who recommended they come back, gets one too! as long as they continue to be active and playing, you'll both continue to be able to claim more mystery boxes! for more information on this new system, please see help OOC mystery box. We're open to adding more items to the boxes, so if you think of something, let us know! The Staff: Hello folks! I am very pleased to be able to say that combat drones are once again open for business. In the end, the poll regarding what to do with overflow drones was too close, so we've just left them in your bays for the time being. This means you may see drones that should not fit in your bay, fitting for a while. This obviously means if you deploy them, they can't come back, so be aware of that. So, I hear you asking, what's changed. Well, first of all, the maximum amount of drones you can deploy has dropped to 10, rather than 50. This is roughly in line with the changes to enemy numbers. their weapons and damages have been also accordingly tweaked, but this may need refinement. When it comes to the biggest concern, rats, I am pleased to bring you a few tweaks. First, based on your drone control skill, anti-rat nesters have a chance of blowing up 2 pods in one hit, rather than just 1. Second off, buzz drones also now have a secondary effect where they can temporarily knock out a rat pod's engines, giving your anti-rat nesters more time to get to them. Be aware though, in a frozen state, rat pods will go on the defensive, so keep an eye on your anti-rat nesters as some may become damaged! The more exciting change to combat drones though is that now you have a whole array of things you can do with them. the help file goes into this in more detail but you can, for example, choose behaviours to tell them whether you want them to be defensive, or to chase down enemies or prioritize a specific target and so on. It's really cool and I highly recommend you give sHelp combat drones a good read. Regarding the nesters and buzz drones changes, it was my aim here to introduce a bit of tactical thought into rats, rather than it being a deploy 50 nesters, and 50 nesters can handle 50 rats per minute, instead it being okay, but, what if I do 3 buzz drones and 7 anti rat nesters? what if I do 5 anti rat nesters, but 5 buzz drones? It should hopefully make life a bit more interesting rather than just deploy nesters, okay moving on. I hope you enjoy these changes to combat drones and once again, sorry these took five ever!

The Staff: Welcome to the Tenth Cosmic Rage Birthday celebrations! The party is about to start! I could spend hours giving you a full outline of all the amazing things we have planned, but we made a command for this! To access the majority of our birthday celebrations, you will need to join the new Birthday OOC channel. To do so, type BDon. The events argument will give you the full breakdown of the things we have cooked up for you, and there are a lot! Each one will have a yes no prompt connected to it which will allow us to collect some metrics on the things you personally participated in, but it will also help you keep track of all the lovely fun you've had so far! WE are also enabling birthday names! The BNAME command on the birthday channel will be the key to that. Finally, when the Land of Cosmic starts, you will be able to type BIRTHDAY on the BD channel to join with your own instance. Keep an eye out, because it's about to get crazy up on this Cosmic Rage!

Any player whose account has reached 10 years of age will automatically receive the Decadian badge upon their next login. Not there yet? Fear not! Time is a patient mistress. Simply keep adventuring with us, and once your account celebrates its tenth birthday, the badge will be yours. And if you joined us today, here's to the next ten years of Cosmic Rage. We can't wait to see you become a Decadian someday!

The Staff: Hello folks! the merchant ship, as many of you have discovered, is back! For where he is and how long he will be there, you will need to consult in character. The hosts have put a lot of time and effort into the items, some old, some new, so we hope you like them and take this opportunity to spend like mad! this is a rare event, as you guys know, the last visit of this merchant was several years ago, so once he's gone, he's gone! Remember to buy items, type menu. The only reason I am doing this announcement, rather than leaving it all to you guys to find is two things. first, the marbles you can purchase have their own help file under gHelp marbles. Second, the parachutes you can buy are part of a new fun time waster which I hope you guys will enjoy. the help file will be released tomorrow, as it's just getting some final polish, but basically, going up in an aircraft or a pollution cleaner and diving out to do a proper sky dive is now possible. If you have wings, you don't need the parachute, but basically, you can now sky dive including controlling the speed and angle of descent where you land and all sorts. It's honestly super fun! remember to feedback for this and the birthday event, and we all hope you enjoy this rare opportunity!

The Staff: Hello everyone! As part of our Cosmic Rage birthday celebrations, we hosted a birthday paintball event, and what an absolute blast it was! Thank you to everyone who came along, got covered in virtual paint, and made the event so much fun. A huge congratulations to our winners! Ginglepaw takes first place and walks away with 10 donator dollars, as well as the brand new Master Painter badge! Supremegamer claims second place and receives 5 donator dollars! Twilight Diamond finishes in third place and earns 2.5 donator dollars! Congratulations to all three of you, and thank you to everyone who participated. It was fantastic seeing so many players join in the birthday festivities and make the event one to remember. The Staff: Hello, players! Following the tremendous success of our tenth birthday celebration, we discovered something: some people really enjoy solving puzzles... and other people really enjoy designing them! As long as they're not too difficult, of course. We realized this was a form of creativity that we had a lot of fun exploring, and we think many of you will enjoy it too. As such, we're pleased to introduce our newest donator item: the Escape Room Editor. For $25, you'll receive your own complete escape room creation suite, allowing you to build interactive puzzles for your fellow players to solve. Hide clues, reveal secret objects, create locked doors, passwords, timed challenges, scoring systems, and much more. Then sit back and watch your friends struggle to find that one hidden key they somehow walked past three times. If you're interested in playing escape rooms, please see the associated help file, Help Escape Rooms, which explains how they work from a player's perspective. Right now there aren't any escape rooms in the game. That part is entirely up to you! We encourage authors to advertise their creations and invite others to come test their puzzle-solving skills. If you're worried that designing an escape room sounds complicated, don't be. The Escape Room Editor includes a comprehensive built-in help system featuring a step-by-step tutorial that walks you through creating your very first puzzle from start to finish. Finally, a special thank you goes to TwilightDiamond, who originally suggested this system and served as one of its primary testers throughout development.
