The Staff: Hello, players. With all the changes to the ground combat system, it was about time armor changed with it. None of this crafting frames, each race applying nonsense. Especially once we find that whether you actually add damage well is based on a dice roll that you can't control? NO sir! So instead, we here at Eli Productions LLC. LTD. INC... bring you ... armor frames! And applying! Except better! Now, when you apply, you are guaranteed to add the maximum durability. When you start a frame, you no longer decide whether you're going to craft light, medium, or heavy armor. Instead, that first start command makes it light armor. From then on, you can apply multiple times to add more and more and more durability. However, why stop at durability? Now, you can add damage resistance's--each race in the game gets to add a different damage resistance. If you're a dragon with access to the cave of Holarian, you can add bioluminescent moss to increase a piece of armor's attention drawing properties. If you're a mutariansi with access to the grove of the elders, you can increase the damage repaired per strips of a piece of armor. The armor smithies are joining in the fun too. Even though they can't add durability to your armor anymore, they can add their race's resistance type for a cool 200 trillion. yes, we know it's not cheap. But your friends will probably charge you less anyway. If you're worried the smithies aren't adding durability, just apply to your frame again... and again... and again! Each person can apply a max of three times, but the race restriction has been removed. So what are you waiting for? check out CHelp Armor Making right now! We'll see you out on the battle field!

The Staff: Hello, folks. At long last, we bring you the reset all skills donator item! We know you all have been wanting it, and we are happy to provide as always. The donator item is priced thusly. 50 dollars to start with and 20 cents per skill point you will be receiving. this means that the lower ranked you are, the cheaper it will be. There will also be a cooldown of one year so that even our neppo babies can't abuse the system by changing their skills every week. Sorry neppo babies. To sweeten the pot, all characters who have already set their skills will be able to purchase the donator item for free once PER EACH CHARACTER. Finally, we have slightly changed how raising skills above 8 works. Instead of spending stat points, we have added a new pool, specialty Skill Points which you will now see in your charinfo. You obtain them at the exact same rate as you do your stat points, but now stat points only work for raising stats and specialty skill points only work for raising skills. We hope this will allow you all to make more unique characters that are more to your liking. Thank you to SkyFallBlindDreamer for dreaming up this suggestion! Have no fear. Any stat points you have invested into skills have been refunded back into your stat point pools. Help file updates to be coming soon, so stay tuned, and as always, keep raging on!

The Staff: Hello folks! In order to help you track progression more clearly, we're trying out something new. It was something we spoke about a couple of HTPC's ago and it was something players were on board with, so now we're giving it a go. Instead of seeing exactly how many points you get, which is somewhat redundant now as rank no longer shows how many you need, the message has been changed to show how much of a percent to your next star you gain, and how far you have left to go. Please let us know how this affects your game play experience, as we thrive on feedback!

The Staff: As the first of two new system changes tonight, we bring you a rejiggered search command and a new reveal command to go with it. you've been hearing all about how people can sneak amongst us without being spotted and have worried. Rightly so. There be some nefarious beings about doing naughty things. However, enter the search command. Instead of searching for tritanium and copper--since the gather command now does this--the search command will seek out any hiding people or things and reveal them to your eyes only. What you choose to do with that information once you have it is up to you. However, the reveal command gives you the ability to act on that information. If you type reveal once you've found them, you will force them to reveal themselves. Sorry, sneaky people, but you can't stop someone from revealing you since it's essentially the equivalent of someone pointing at you behind the couch and going, look at that sneak! Enjoy unmasking each other!

The Staff: Eli is on a roll, guys! Adding to the newest layer of awesomeness, we give you the ability to hide exits! And no, we're not just talking about go exits which still exist and work as they always did. We're talking about honest to goodness hidden exits, hideable from the edit-f menu. For example, type edit-f east, and select the edit an exit's hidden status. you'll be put into a menu where you can edit the details of the hidden exit such as how difficult it is for a player to find it, remove anyone from the exit who has found it so far, and straight up reveal it and remove its hidden status all together. You can use the search command in a room to look for any hidden exits, and from then on, they will be shown in a separate line underneath the obvious exits but only for you. Finally, you can use the reveal command to reveal any hidden exits to anyone in the room with you.

The Staff: Good Morning Everyone! Cosmic Rage and her box are back online. I can only offer my sincerest apologies for going down last night and take full responsibility for it myself. What should have been a fairly simple switch to fix our email deliveries ended up breaking the entire network of the server. If I break something, I do it good! It won't happen again and on the bright side if you've not been getting emails from Cosmic Rage when you expected to, you should soon! All in all we're back online and will remain so for as long as Nate keeps his hands off the server!

The Staff: Hello everyone, It has come to our attention that some players have been stretching Mutariansi descriptions too far, for example, creating hybrids or mixing in traits that do not exist in the established forms. Think humanoids with wings and tails, flying dogs, cows with flippers, or other combinations that don't exist in lore. This goes against the roleplay guidelines of the Mutariansi race. Cosmic Rage is a game where we love creativity and customisability, and we encourage you to explore your forms within their boundaries. Custom descriptions are meant to give you room for expression within each form, not to invent entirely new ones. Players found using traits outside the established lore and default descriptions will be dealt with, and corrections will be made in accordance with roleplay policy.

The Staff: Hello all, What started out as a simple bug fix turned into a much bigger idea. When Host Augustus mentioned to me that the feedback raffle had been broken for months without anyone noticing, I first set out to simply fix it. But the more I looked at it, the more I realized it could be something greater. Instead of just patching things up, I redesigned the raffle so that it grows along with the community. Every unique player who leaves feedback now adds to the reward pool, making the prizes larger as participation increases. At certain milestones, more winners will also be chosen, ensuring that more players come away with rewards. To make things even more exciting, I added tracebacks into the prize pool as well. At the heart of these changes is something simple but important: we care. We care about your ideas, your time, and the role you play in shaping Cosmic Rage. That is why your feedback matters, and why we are giving you more reasons than ever to share it with us.
