ships help: selling your ship

Sometimes, we find that a ship is so badly damaged, or so useless, that we just don't want it any more.
When you own a battleship, a shuttle just isn't that impressive any more.
To this end, we offer three different ways to sell a ship.
1. On Mars there is a sales Technician called London. She can be found on the Starbase landing bay. If you land your ship there, and type sell to London, she will pay you for it.
2. Using your info computers, you can submit your ship to the hosts to be sold.
This second method takes a lot longer, but is more likely to get you a higher price.
This second option also comes with the option of roleplay.
Note: If you are looking for a quick bit of cash, do not use this option. Hosts are very busy people, and this is a very low priority item.
3. the ship auction. Also through the info computer you can auction your ships up on the Omega Gateway Station. to bid on the auction, simply go to the auction house on Omega station and bid. Ships stay up for sale until they are sold. For more information, see shelp ship auction.
The hosts also encourage players to trade ships amongst each other.
In starship stores, it is possible to type transfer, in order to transfer a ship to someone else. We fully encourage people to use this command to make inter player sales, and to roleplay.
There is no excuse for self destructing a ship!
