ships help: misc ship commands

Some commands for starships just do not fit into any category.
We have created this file, just for that purpose:
Commands done from the control room:
Avatar: turn on or off a custom computer avatar, if you have one.
"Battlestation: Allows you to check empty weapon rooms
camera: toggle the external camera
cargo: check the cargo of your ship
charge: Check the charge of the ship
Danger: Checks to see if any rooms are on fire.
evacuate. if in space, puts everyone in an escape pod if the ship has any. if the ship is landed, it kicks everyone out
expel : kick someone out of the ship
heat-s*hields: raise your heat shields
invaded, will show any or all invaded sectors.
life: Allows you to restrict what sorts of objects enter your ship.
For instance, if you do not want cargo drones to enter your ship just select this option from the menu.
lock/unlock: will lock or unlock all airlocks of the ship
open-all/close-all: opens all of, or closes all of, the ships airlocks
peer window: Look outside your ship.
recharge: recharges the ship
suba-c: calculate the amount of subatomic fuel needed to jump from point A to point B when your course is set.
"Tug: This will retrieve any escape pods and place them into your docking bay.
safety: see what lifeforms are abord the ship
scan-filter or sf: set up filters on your scans. Use the following numbers to correspond to the races: 0=vacus, 1=allies, 2=droidic, 3=kaltz, 4=embahi, 5=shalka, -1=all
sectorcom, or scom. Will transmit a message to nearby ships.
self-destruct, will blow up your ship, please read the policy before doing this.
silent: mute or unmute the computer on the ship
sos: send out a galactic SOS. Only use this command if there is a true emergency situation. If used inappropriately, for the first time there will be an in-character heavy fine. For the second, jail time (the time will be determined by the court, with a possibility to seek representation.)
stabilize: toggle the stabilizers
staralarm: toggle the star alarmm
stargate: jump through a stargate
systems: access the system options for the ship
status: get status readouts on the ship
public: this will toggle s2s from another ship on to yours.
teleport: while on a ship, will teleport to a planets landing bay and while on a landing bay will teleport back to your ship.
transfer: transfer the ships contents
Extra note: Both the cargo command and transfer command can be filtered to your liking. To see how, chek out shelp the cargo command and shelp transferring items, respectively.
toggle-docking, toggles whether ships can dock into your ship or not. If you own both docking ships, this does not effect your docking, you will simply be allowed to dock.
vent: vent either phosgene or Oxygen through the ship provided you have some in your cargo bay. Phosgene is poisonous and can be used to kill all living creatures not in a spacesuit aboard.
lockdown start or end: Lock all doors, hatches and the ship itself, or unlock them, respectively.
beacon-t: Start transmitting a distress call. This enables people to jump directly to your location through the use of jumpships. To turn it off again, type beacon-t.
scent: If you have the scent upgrade, allows you to adjust the scent for all the rooms in your ship
ext-remove: Allows you to remove fire extinguishers
cores: Allows you to chec the ice or core manifest..

From outside the ship:
gdock: from a landing pad, will walk you through docking two ships together while landed
lock will lock the ship from being opened.
unlock will unlock the ship again
knock will knock on a ships hull.
open/close ship: opens and or closes the ship
If your ship is lost in space somewhere, you can try ship-get from a landing pad to try and retrieve it.
"If your computer seems not to be comunicating to you you can use the silent command to check if the computer is on.
