ships help: The planetary rifting system, [planning]

The rifting system may seem a little difficult to understand when you first start playing, so hopefully this help file should clear up some less well-known facts.
First, what actually is it, as in, what happens to make my ship jump?
Rifting is the act of moving from sector a to sector b in a matter of a mear few seconds.
How it works:
1. Your ship requests a rift from a nearby planet.
2. The planet has 22 tiny satellites that usually orbit around the planet at the exact same speed as the planets revolution, making it almost appear as though they are stationary. When a rift request is received, however, these satellites spin in the opposite direction to the planet, or anti-gravwell, causing a rift in space.
It is through this rift your ship is propelled, eventually arriving at a new sector.
How does it work, command wise?
in terms of commands, there are two:
1. Secjump.
The secjump command allows you to look up your destination.
You can either provide arguments to the secjump command, or choose from a list.
Possible output from the secjump command might read like this:
Secjump Navu:
Navu: Number designation: 38.
2. Plan:
This is the command you use to jump from one sector to another.
plan must be given an argument as to where you would like to go.
You can either type your destinations name, or enter it's designated number, like so:
plan navu
plan 38
Both of these would take you to Navu.
Note: As of a change on May 22nd, 2017, typing plan will automatically take you to that sector, ignoring number designation.
