general help: Donating

What are donator items?

Available on the game are several extra perks which we have dubbed donator items though there are several ways besides donating that you could obtain them.
A donator item will not give you any advantage in game that you cannot get through other means if you work hard enough.
There are over 80 donator items split into the following categories:
1. Payable by cash: This requires you to use donator dollars to pay for the item.
2. Payable by rp points: This requires you to pay for the item using role play points, though donator dollars can not be used.

How do you get donator dollars?

There are a number of ways, the first and most obvious is to simply donate real cash.
If you can not though, do not panic!
There are a number of ways to obtain donator dollars that include, but are not limited to:
1. Being on during times which cosmic rage beets its all time peak.
2. Being on during a significant day such as July First or your account-registered birthday.
3. By sending feedback on announcements, changes and events. Each week, 1 person is selected among those who send feedback and they receive random amounts of rp points or donator cash!
There are other ways, but we will let you discover those on your own.

RP points are rewarded for the following:

1. By roleplaying with people: well-written emotes gives you rp points!
2. Taking part in an event: Big or small, if you join in an event you get RP points in the end if you roleplay!
3. Submitting a good profile.
4. Reporting bugs.
5. When one of your suggestions gets implemented.
6. Catching and reporting people who are using exploits or scripts.
There are others, but we will let you discover those on your own.

To donate real cash:

1. Go to https://www.nathantech.net/moo/donating.php
2. After you have donated, check your email for an email from us. If it is not in your inbox, please give it up to 30 minutes to arrive. Remember to check your junk or spam box.
3. In this email is a donation ID. Type donate and enter it.
4. Enter a support ticket, under category four, and be as detailed about which items you would like as you can.

Refunds:

You have the right to request a refund of any donator dollar item within 14 days of the initial transaction taking place.
If the donator item was given to your character in this time, any benefits you had gained from it will be removed, and, the item itself also removed.
Refunds cover both cash donated to us, and items purchased with that cash. So, if you put in a request for a pet, and for some reason you find you don't like your pet, you have 14 days upon the deduction of the cash from your account to request that donator cash be refunded to you.
Donations that are longer than 14 days old can not be refunded.

Notes on donator items:

1. For information on the ship lighting item, please see help The ship lighting donator item.
2. For information on the containers item, please see help Donator containers or unlimited virtualizing containers.
3. A note about the Mutariansi accents item. Buying the Mutariansi accents item entitles you to one free accent on each mutariansi form. You can add new accents by typing accents. Note: If after setting the accent you wish to change it, you will need to rebuy the item.

Pre and post reset:

If you decide to reset your character at any point, there are a number of things to note:
1. Any babies or pets you have will be recycled. You can request new ones for your character by entering a support ticket through the baby making or pet making wizards, respectively and you will not be charged.
If your intention is to transfer ownership of a baby or pet to another player before resetting, please note that you must still handle this through role-play via the JAG. This is comparable to getting one's affairs in order. Just as one might do if one were to retire, end their lives, or what have you. This role-play should be resolved prior to resetting.
2. The same in item 1 also applies to containers.
3. Skills, cargo plates and rp items, such as extra messages, time zone adjustments ETC will not carry across and will not be given to your new character.
4. Automatic saving, heat shields, star immunity death scene skips, extra Pn channel, custom team talk channel, quicker transfer speed and speed walk time reduced all automatically carry across to your new reset character and require no action.
5. If you think you have lost a donator item that should not have, please enter a support ticket and we will address the issue as soon as we can.
6. It is no longer necessary to enter a support ticket pre-reset, only post-reset if you feel you have lost something you should not have.

Notes on transfer:

After the purchase of an item, pets, babies and containers may be given to another character however you must understand this is a process we will not refund. If you transfer an item to your crush and then decide actually I don't like them any more, we will not be moving the item back. You must be absolutely sure you wish to do this. By transferring an item to someone else, you are voiding any and all claims you have to said item.
Skills, cargo plates and other boosting items can not be transferred across to other characters, this includes your alts.
If you wish to transfer a baby or pet from one alt to another, you will be given a free pet or baby entry to use and the originals destroyed.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Why are babies, containers and pets destroyed when being moved between my alts or my reset characters?
This is to ensure the roleplay integrity of the game world is not shattered into a million tiny pieces. by asking you to create a new name and description for the item we ensure that no cross alt interaction occurs while also deepening the experience you can have in the game world.
Can rp points be converted to donator dollars or vice versa?
No, roleplay points and donator dollars are mutually exclusive and can not be converted to each other in any way.
