touring Temreth

Four rings of ice, rock, metal and dust surround a planet that seems equally divided between water, forest and land. The image presented is focused on the eastern hemisphere, that which is populated by a large spread of soft red landing beacons. Forests are densely packed into looming groups around small cities, seeming to be trying to smother them and return the land to the otherwise naturalistic style of the rest of the world. The atmosphere is fairly calm, scrolling figures at the right of the screen presenting high levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide, though there do seem to be strange pockets of unidentified crimson gas. A short range of mountains to the south are ruled over by a larger active peak atop which sits a city open to pilots.

February 22nd, 2449	December 18th, 2469	Vacus occupation on Winthrope City	vacus war Temreth	event	Winthrope's City	nothing	In 2450, Vacus attack force sweeps into the atmosphere and, with very little difficulty, slams into Winthrope city. The defensive projects prove next to useless, and it takes them an hour to capture the leaders and suppress resistance. remember that this was a city of wealthy people, not rocket scientists. The Vacus occupation of the city is light for the most part up until 2463 when pressure in other areas of the Vacus lines requires them to crack down hard on Temreth. Vacus occupation is not ended until a second city is founded and an eventual uprising occurs.

September 23rd, 2465	September 23rd, 2465	Enchanting Waves v.s. The Vacus, round one	Temreth exploration discovery	event	Winthrope's City	nothing	Enchanting Waves, an exploration class vessel loaded with light escort ships, enters the sector of Temreth. The Vacus do not attack right away as they are not sure of the capabilities of the ship. they are unable to completely hide though and are detected by the allied ship. Cresting Waves deploys the escort ships, and under the guiding leadership of on board SDL Captains begins an attack run on Winthrope. the ship does not have MI officers aboard, and only has the SDL personell because of the ships sent to keep it safe, as such they make little headway in gaining ground, but are able to take out Vacus communications and silence their cries for reinforcement, a move that would prove critical in the coming months.
October 1st, 2465	October 31st, 2465	Cresting waves established	Temreth Vacus war	event	cresting Wave City	nothing	Frustrated by their minimal gains, Cresting Waves settles down a large handful of miles away from Winthrope, and in a fashion earily similar to the first settlers, very quickly pulls apart the ship to establish their own city. enhanced by modern technology and experienced field workers the second modern city is far easier to defend and much less hostile to natives.

2489	2489	Arrival of Larger Vacus Fleet	Temreth war	event	nothing	nothing	In 2489, a larger-than-average Vacus fleet sweeps into the sector. They do not make landfall, and without satellites, go largely undetected, only amateur sky watchers with telescopes noticing their presence.
2492	2492	Liberation of Temreth	Temreth war	event	Temreth	nothing	In 2492, Allied pilots sweep into the sector, battling hard against heavy Vacus numbers and inflicting heavy losses. They manage to liberate the planet and immediately begin to send down envoys.

A train line is established for diplomatic reasons, boosting the economy of both cities in the hope to prove slavery is not necessary.

The SDF puts pressure on the Senate to intervene, but major powers like Goscro Krah and Maraquda oppose for various reasons.
