Appearance

The appearance of this race can vary greatly due to their mechanical nature.
The Droidic race is a purely non-biological race who build their units in factories that spread far and wide. It is important to contextually consider each unit a different species of droid to give you the correct perspective.
While the most common varieties of droid, scout, battle and such follow a basic structure of hovering base and cylindrical or domed upper section, that is by no means an industrial standard. Droidic units change based on their purpose and we have seen units that have limbs, no limbs, tracks, arms, rotating heads and more.
All droids are armed though, even the trash collection ones!

Historical Information

the Droidic race were originally encountered by a group of explorers who, mistaking the much smaller ships at the time to be those of the Caitsa, shot them down. It has almost constantly been war since in some form or another.
In more recent times, the two biggest atrocities committed by the Droids are:
1. The destruction of Upgrade Mania and
2. The temporary take over of Harmonia where units that projected holographic illusions to appear as friends terrorised occupents and caused a great rift between the villagers and the alliance who they viewed as not helping in their time of need.
The holomorph attack units, as they have been named, have since been used successfully in other attacks by this race in various invasions.

This race is listed as highly dangerous.
Unfortunately, this race is also listed as highly virulent, a designation given to races who are not in danger of being threatened any time soon.

Singular: Droid.
Plural: Droids.
Pronounced: Exactly as it reads.
Additional notes: Often times you may see the word Droidic written to mean Droids. This is an alternative way of using the words and is also valid in the form droidic and droidics.
