The first thing picked out about the world on the viewscreen is that the main island, that on which the ship would land, is actually perfectly diamond shaped. A very blue ocean spreads out from this, small dots labeled as docks accompanied with dashed lines highlighting the various trade routes the people of the planet use on a daily basis. Lush forests and verdant green fields seem to be the main order of the day as it attains to the makeup of the world, though a few explosive volcanoes shatter the illusion of potential paradise. The computer's compass pointers identify that the vessel will land in the southern hemisphere. On the map, the northern face of the planet has been completely blacked out, as though a shadow is cast upon the surface. No explanation is given for this.
