world help: the festival of Garantaera

Of the many races populating space, each one has their own traditions, their own festivals and occasions to celebrate.
When new races join the alliance, the Senate try to make sure that each race keeps as many holidays as it can.
The human tradition of Christmas, for example, has been maintained across every race, though for each one it holds a different meaning, see wHelp christmas.
Out of all of the dragon's festivals, the festival of Garantaera is one of their most important.
It is traditionally held on Navu and is one of the most attended festival of all.
It is a celebration, originally created as a religious movement to worship the planet Navu as a goddess.
It takes place over a day, usually between the 1st and 12th of October.
On this day, Dragon's from all over Navu are honoured by the Queen as she asks them to sell various rare goods such that they might benefet the others of their race.
In the evening, a heavy dinner is provided consisting of a boar for each family, as well as smaller, cooked, animals.
After the meal is complete, a traditional burning is done in which each dragon compiles a pile of logs. breathes on them to set fire to them, and then lays scales upon the flames as a personal offering to the goddess.
It is named after the 15th queen, Garantaera, who traditionally begun this ceremony after her first hatchling came to be, she called it "giving back to the goddess."
It is a time of great celebration, and yet great seriousness for the dragons.
Since the alliances formation, other races have been permitted to attend the gathering and are often blessed in honour by the dragons.
A traditional toasting of wine is given to the health and ritches of the alliance, before the night finishes on a general merriment note, with fireworks and music.
