world help: music groups

Both due to loss of data, and time passing, a lot of the groups you know these days no longer exist, or are remembered. That being said, we have provided a list of common styles, and the most famous groups known in the 2490s.
This is in no way a complete list. but we hope it helps.
It is worth noting that if there is a good reason why your character would know about a group or genre that is popular in the modern day, feel free to roleplay it out. Otherwise, there are some commonly recognized groups though our understanding of their music is hazy at worst and confused at best.
Artist: Calrana Blue scale. Genre: Smooth Jazz. Known for: playing the sax. She once had the honor of playing for the 18th queen of the dragons. Modern day equivalent: Kenny G or similar.
Artist: Jasmine Marene. Genre: Classical Baroque type. Known for composing music that closely resembles Mozart's work, going so far as to lift entire sections of his piano concertos without realizing it.
Folk music: Bob Simone (similar in style to John Denver), Liam Fiturt (similar to Bruce Springsteen) and Jailora Silver Designation, (similar to Judy Collins). Folk has become a human dominated style.
Musical theatre: Brandon red Designation and his orchestra, John Shraftensstine and his puppets.
Rock: Earth shakers (similar to The Rolling Stones), Danimara unleashed (Similar to queen, though not as popular), Galaiga Imone, a cy-larkan group similar to pink floid, but they're not very popular.
Blues: Blues has fallen largely out of fashion now, but there still remains a few minor singers from places like Mars and Sahariana. Most blues music focuses on colonisation.
Country music: A largely dragon dominated area, top known artists include Oridian Gold Scale, Marla's Men, and 3 wise eggs.
pop: Dragon Demands (rather like girls allowed), Candy (Harmonian in origin and similar to Britney Spears of the 1990's), Loid and his lads (known for comical songs), Mercury's voice, (a boy band that is falling somewhat out of fashion), and The Goscro Girls, (Very similar to Ariana Grande's music and have even made a repeat appearance on television)
Punk rock: randoms (The Stooges), free flyer (Misfits)
Heavy metal: Ryuchi unchained (similar style to iron maiden), deep sea down (similar to AC/DC), haven's thunder (similar to rush) and darkness (similar to AC/DC). darkness's origins are on Maraquda, where there playing has since been band.
Reggae: reggae is still going strong, with singers such as Darkali blue designation, Ramoy dark green designation and Faehiti Kamira (female) leading this genre.
Soul: there are a few soul singers around, most famous of which being Diana Marie and Caleb McShane.
Most other styles are selective to specific planets, but if you would like to see another style listed, please let us know.
