world help: christmas
Christmas was originally a human tradition, beginning on Earth over 2000 years ago.For many, it was a religious occasion, while for others it was a time of gift giving and celebration of the family.
The traditions of Christmas are not as wide spread as they were a half century ago, though the celebrations still continue.
See below what christmas means to each of the races:
Humans: The human tradition of christmas remains pretty much the same.
Dragons: Dragons see christmas as a time of honouring your family by providing gifts of great ritches to your ancestors.
Ryuchi: For the fearce Ryuchi, Christmas is a time of honour and feisty fighting. Friendly duels are often held on the day, trials held in an almost olympic fashion to show off strength and power, with the winner of each family receiving gifts from the others in celebration.
Mutariansi: for the Mutariansi, Christmas literally means to give gifts. Mutariansi spend christmas day hunting for food in the frozen Earth, using their superior skill and shape-shifting form to bring up potential food sources to the surface, as well as giving the gift of extra food to their fellow animals. Some Mutariansi also make baths and water containers for animals to drink out of.
Cy-Larkans: At first, Larkans had no concept of Christmas. It made very little sense to them, and some still today do not understand it. Despite this, christmas is used as an occasion for the entire race to gather together. Being a relatively small race, numbering only in the thousands, they are able to do this. It is a time to exchange collected data and analyse future upgrades.
Pauagiwa: Being only recently freed, Christmas is a relatively new concept to this race. Those who are not free, see it as a day off, which they are granted. Those who are free often go along with the traditions of their adopter.
