world help: Galactic Brands

Overview

In the CR universe, there are several brands that would be widely recognized by everyone just like brands such as Apple, Microsoft, and Clean ex are widely known in western civilization and beyond in many cases. In this help file, we try and gather the most obvious ones that could be used, and they will most often apply to government-run shops and businesses. Should your character sell any of these things on their factories, it would be best to have roleplayed getting permission from the manufacturers or making it clear they are knock-off products.

Starships

These brands confine themselves to manufacturing starships.
Stargate Productions
Company Logo: An old-fashioned stargate with swirls of black and silver inside its opening
Company aims: Mass-produce easy to use and intuitive vessels for aspiring brand new pilots. Out of the docks, they are easy to use and endlessly customizable.
Solarblade Industries
Company Logo: A golden sunburst with silver blades as the solar rays
Company Aims: For the more discerning pilot, our ships come are the future with innovative new designs and use-specific tasks in mind.
Juggernaut Inc.
company Logo: A modified version of the Space Defense Logo
Company Aims: To produce military-grade hardware for space defense officers. Our vessels can hold out against the enemy on the front lines, so they should be good enough for any SDL officer.

Electronics

As in the present day, big tech company rule the galaxy. Take a look at a few below.
Sector Reaches
Company Logo: A sleek starship against a starry background
Company Aims: The primary developers of the sector communication network available on all standard starships. They also released the latest version of phones pilots can buy from beacon stations. Basically, if you can use it to communicate, they probably made it.
Deep Space Tech
Company Logo: A silver upgrade drone running through a purple tunnel
Company Aims: They make many of the upgrades for ranks 900 and above and were one of the parties who participated in the research to create basic and advanced quantum fuel.
Golden Paw
company Logo: The paw print of a massive dragon, its claws splayed wide
Company Aims: Throughout the 25th century, this company concerned itself with entertainment, building movie theaters, making 4D televisions, and most famously, building the casino ship which even now drifts throughout the sectors. They are co-owners of Partaculous Spectaculous
Reel Life Inc.
Company Logo: A film reel unrolling into a colorful vortex
Company Aims: To create holographic technology that would fool even the most skeptical person into thinking it's real. Inventors of the modern holodeck and holographic communicators. Other sidelines such as their holographic chess sets are not as essential to living but nevertheless fun.

Home Appliances

These galactic brands make anything from kitchen hardware to washers and dryers.
Galactic Chef
Company Logo: A cartoonish man wearing a chef's hat
Company Aims: They sell anything from industrial refrigerators to pots, pans, and laser food processors.
company Slogan: We keep the galaxy fed!

Toy Brands

As in the present, these companies keep our little tikes entertained so we can get on with the business of being boring adults.
Space Baby
Company Logo: A hatchling dragon in a space suit
Company aims: They aim to get babies from their cribs into a starship at warp speed. Famous creators of the toy communicators, mappers, and other pilot-themed baby toys.
Exploring Tots
Company Logo: A steam engine with a rainbow coming out of the smoke stack
Company Aims: Bring maximum customizability and creativity to parents and their children. Think Build-A-Bear, but in the future. They were the first company to open a toy factory for parents to make and distribute their own baby toys.
Galactic Toys Inc.
Company Logo: A sun with a smiling baby face
Company Aims: To educate the children of the galaxy. Toys such as the "Giving Babies Wheels" line of toy vehicles.
Battle Pet
Company Logo: A cat and dog wielding battle axes and facing each other
Company Aims: they make a wide assortment of pet toys for all different types of animals from scratching posts for cats to balls on a rope for birds.
