ships help: using manual mode

Using manual mode is very simple once you get your head around it.
Manual is used in a variety of things through the moo, including ships and boats.
The easiest way to think of manual mode is like a keypad on your computer, or the keypad of a calculator.
Place your finger on 5, and then the directions come naturally:
9=northeast
8=north
7=northwest
6=east
4=west
3=southeast
2=south
1=southwest
+=up
-=down
Sometimes, its difficult for people without a keypad to get their head around this concept. That is why we have also created an alternate set of manual key commands, they are as follows:
q=northwest
w=north
e=northeast
a=west
d=east
z=southwest
x=south
c=southeast
r=up
f=down
Note: If you type a command such as w, or s while on manual mode, the game will assume you want to move the ship, not your character, for you to move yourself, the ship must be in autopilot, or you must type the full command, west, south, ETC.
