Occasionally over time, you will get hull breaches on your ship. If unattended can suck anyone out into space and kill them if they are not wearing a spacesuit with oxygen.
So, how do I repair these hull breaches you speak of? Well, the easiest way to do it especially if you cannot return to a repair center is by using a breach repair drone. What do these fabulous things do? Well, they repair your hull from nasty breaches that will suck you out into space.
Where do I get these wonderful things you speak of, you can get them from outfit your ship on star command.
