rp help: consenting to roleplay

Overview

Cosmic Rage supports various types of roleplay, including explicit scenarios, as long as all participants are consenting adults. To facilitate this, we provide the @consent command.
Typing @consent will bring up a menu of people you have consented to engage in explicit roleplay with, along with an option to add someone new. You can see when you first allowed roleplay with each person and whether the consent is mutual for your peace of mind. Always add participants to your list when engaging in explicit roleplay to avoid breaching the Roleplay, OOC, and IC policy.

What Constitutes Explicit Roleplay?

1. Sexual roleplay.
2. Explicitly violent roleplay.
3. Non-consensual roleplay.
The inclusion of non-consensual roleplay may seem confusing, but the @consent command is an OOC tool where you consent for your character to be involved in such situations and confirm that you are of consenting age. This command is a preliminary safeguard. In explicit roleplay situations, it is prudent to clarify OOC boundaries and respect lines and veilstopics you're comfortable mentioning and hard limits you do not wish to cross.
