rp help: RPEMOTE

Hi there, player of Cosmic Rage. Have you ever found yourself in a situation where something really cool has happened or you're engaged in some note-worthy roleplay and you're just hoping someone will notice? Maybe you and another trainee doctor are working to save someone's life and maybe you are hoping that since you and that other trainee are on the landing pad, someone might see your desperate efforts and come over to help you? Or maybe you're alone in your jail sell and you are entertaining yourself by scratching an interesting design into the wall for posterity? Perhaps you are in the middle of combat and your pet is helping you attack the Vacus warriors by body slamming them to the ground and laying on top of them while you chop off their head with your dragon claws? I don't know, it could happen. Whether you are alone or roleplaying with people, the rpemote command is your friend. Basically, if you're roleplaying and hope your roleplay has some consequence beyond your own abilities, give this command a whirl.
What does it do?
The rpemote does exactly what the normal emote does. You can target people, perform your actions, and even use it to talk to people you are in the room with with one extra component. The hosts see your emote. If the emote is particularly good, the hosts might even pop over to see what is going on and even play along either as a morph or to add some flavor text to the roleplay. If the roleplay is even better, you may be rewarded with roleplay points. However, the rewarding of roleplay points is up to the host's discretion. ROLEPLAY POINTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED!
If you are participating in a story via the story weaver system, the rpemote command will also send the emote to your story weavers. This is especially useful if you have gone off to another room or even another planet for some odd reason and want the weavers to see that you're doing something of significance to the story.
Guidelines of the rpemote command.
1. Don't abuse the command to get host attention. Remember that the hosts see your emote. This means that if you don't get a host's attention after using it a few times, it is most likely that they are not available or able to roleplay along with you or your group of people.
2. Follow roleplay rules. Things like force roleplay and realistic roleplay will be heavily scrutinized when players use this command, so please keep this in mind before sending your emote to hosts for consideration.
3. HOST INTERVENTION IS NOT GUARANTEED! Don't be disappointed if your rpemote ends up functioning just like a normal emote. Hosts are busy creatures and are often fixing things that break, bending reality to create new things to break, and breaking things which they then need to fix once more.
4. If you are rpemoting something quite private and you would not want anyone to see it, then please do not rpemote it. When in doubt if you would not want one of your friends to see it, there is a good chance that we do not want to see it either. Hosts will not provide any flavor text to your private rp.
Thank you!
