rp help: Jury duty

On cosmic Rage your character may be called upon to do jury duty, but don't worry, it's not scary!
As you may know, we have an organisation on the game called the JAG.
the JAG contains people who in a trial will fill the roles of defending a person or party, prosicuting a person or party, and judging.
A judge in a court case only can decide sentence, however it is up to the jury to decide whether a party or person is guilty of what they are being accused.
Your character may be called upon to be a member of a jury in an event at some point.
You will receive a notice, and the MUD will keep bugging you, if this is the case.
If you are selected as jury, what should you do?
1. Head over to Cape Dread, then go south of the landing pad.
2. type register. Use this command to indicate if you will be able to attend the event or not.
there is no punishment for not doing jury duty or not being able to attend jury duty, however, if you do attend the event and roleplay, you will receive, as standard, 250 rp points for your service.
On the day of the event:
1. turn up a little early, that way you appear nice and professional, make sure to dress your character in smart clothing. Arriving early also means you can be guided to a seat.
2. Listen as each side presents their case.
3. At the end of the event, the JAG member who is acting as judge will take you and your fellow jury members into a separate chamber in which you can give your opinion on whether the accused party is guilty or not guilty. Once a majority vote is decided, the event is over!
So in very simple terms, being selected for jury duty is a case of turning up, listening, deciding on guilty or not guilty, and earning a great reward!

You do not need to know anything about real life laws to fill this position.
