rp help: Job Titles

The easiest way to earn a job title before your name is to join an organization. As soon as you do, a title is appended to the beginning of your name with your organization's short name and what position you hold in that organization such as SDL Captain Bob Jankins. However, that is not the only way to earn titles since it is possible to request a job roll.
Should you wish to request a badge or other ID which you may use during roleplay, you may put in a request on Business Central. Simply go to the offfice directory look your job role up in the system by typing "MENU," and, if two months have passed since you requested your job role, fill out the form. The hosts then vote on it, and if three hosts approve, your ID will be made and moved to your inventory. Examples of names might be Starship Engineer Bob Jankins, Factory Inspector Jimmy Johnson, or Designer Emily Watson. You may not request titles that would be awarded through an organization such as Corporal, psychologist, or Attorney. Titles are entirely up to the host's approval and can be denied if insufficient proof of roleplay is not provided. Excellent ways to provide such proof are by submitting logs of scenes via support ticket, using the rpemote command, or putting up advertisements promoting yourself and your job. In short, an equivalent amount of effort has to go into the roleplay in your job roll as would have gone into roleplaying with an organization.
