What is posing?
Posing is a way for you to tell us what you are doing in a particular room or place. For instance, you could be sitting at a table talking with a friend or pacing back and forth so on and so forth.

So, how do I pose?
Let us learn how to pose by giving you a story to work with.

You and your friend Walt are at Chicken Crumbs on Harmonia.
For reference the description for the restaurant is below.

Begin description
This rather small shop is what old Earth Humans might have called a KFC. The floor under your feet is a polished white wax that does not hold grease very easily and seems rather low effort for cleaning. A counter runs along the front of the store, allowing for people to make an order, and some plastic chairs are placed off to one side where people already sit enjoying various meals. There is so much chicken here it is unbelievable.
End of description

So, the first thing we see is this restaurant has a counter running along it to place your order and let us just say that you wanted to emote that you were placing your order. Here is what we are going to do.
Command: pose standing at the counter giving his order
What you should see: Walt (standing at the counter giving his order) is here

Great so, now that we have a pose set now, we can emote that we are giving or order, grabbing a drink, or any number of things.
Once we are done with giving our order, we can then move to those chairs that are also in the description.

Command: pose sitting on one of the plastic chairs munching on some chicken
What others see: Walt (sitting on one of the chairs munching on some chicken) is here.

You can also target poses at people and objects as well!
Command: pose is nibbling on a chicken leg while talking to $ani
What others see: Walt (is talking to Ani while nibbling on a chicken leg) is here.

A few notes on grammar
If you are posing with a verb first such as sitting, standing, dancing make sure that it is in present tense or else it might look a little weird. This is just something to keep in mind while posing.
Remember: If you leave a room or if you return from AFK, your pose will clear.
