rp help: Brandon's Guide to Rp Chapter 1: An introduction to Rp

Welcome to the first of several guides on rp.
This help file is meant to serve as a supplement to many of the other help files in this section as well as a text transcription of the first rp class that we had some time ago.
So, without any further a due let's get started!

What is rp?
Rp stands for role play and it is a way for you to step into the shoes of someone who is different than yourself.
Rp starts by asking yourself a few questions.
Who am I?
Are you a ryuchi seeking glorious battle?
Are you a human who enjoys baking cookies for an orphanage on Diana?
Are you a cy-larkan who searches the stars to find the meaning of their existence?
This is a question that us as hosts cannot answer for you this is a journey that you need to partake in.
The next question you should ask yourself is, what motivates me?
Are you fueled by fame?
Are you trying to get quads upon quads of credits?
Are you seeking love, a family?
What motivates you about being a pilot.

What can I do if I cannot answer these questions?
Do not worry first of all these are questions that are not required. Rather these serve as a stepping stone into the realm of rp.

How do I start rp?
Starting rp can be as simple as asking people if they would like to hang out somewhere or go on a shopping spree. The possibilities are endless and extensive here on Cosmic Rage.
