general help: titles

Titles are a high-honour on the game.
Titles are not ranks, which we'll explain below.
Rank: a rank is something that appears before your name and indicates your standing within an organisation, such as "SDL colonel."
A title is an honour granted by the leading royalty or authority figures in the game, such as the Chief General, Mulrala Elders, Dragon Queen, Ryuchi War General, or the Cy-Larkan King or Queen. Titles are displayed in your info, lookup status, and before your character's name in any channels or locations, provided you are wearing the badge associated with the title.

While titles offer limited benefits, they signify your ability to govern a specific area as outlined by the title's specifications. They also grant you the authority to challenge military involvement within that area.

There are currently two titles you can achieve:
Earl: An earl, or countess, is he or she who has successfully built a stable, defendable, self-sufficient moon base and kept it running for at least 3 months. The moon base must be able to survive with ease, be economically stable, and be in a known area, or by an easy jump point. the title will appear as "earl of " or "countess of "
Lord: The title of lord is given to anyone who has successfully achieved the rank of artificial planet for a factory. the title appears as "Lord of " or "lady of "
