general help: the pauagiwa race
The Pauagiwa are a race who until recently nothing was known of.They were known as a name, and a political nightmare, but that is all.
That was until July 1st, 2492 when the most powerful families on Maraquda all grouped together and created a scheme called the Pauagiwa Freedom Movement.
This movement allows Pauagiwa to work and pay off their ownership charges and then declare themselves a free citizen of Maraquda.
The races history, is either unknown by Maraquda, or is classified and as such, we know very little, accept that they came to Earth in the early 14th century and were captured by the then very new Moscow city.
The Pauagiwa, due to their time in captivity are intensely peaceful and will very rarely lift a weapon or take the route of combat when another option is open.
It is rare of a Pauagiwa to say the words, "I hate."
The Pauagiwa began to be able to free themselves in 2492 but after thought, remained citizens of Maraquda and are as such under their rules.
The Pauagiwa's home planet is currently Maraquda, though lobbyists have been trying to ask the SDL and MI to find a new one for them.
They have not brought any technologies to the alliance yet.
Race specifics:
Home planet: Maraquda, sector 2
Capital City: new Moscow.
Open to the piloting community? Yes.
Height: between 3 to 5 feet
Hands: 2
Paws: 0
Feet: 2
Shape: Very small and bulky humanoids
Wings: 0
The first non-Maraquden family to adopt a Pauagiwa was the Hamilton family, 2492.
Diet: Pauagiwa are not vegetarian, though have adapted to enjoy a more herbivore-like diet so that they might survive easier on limited foods.
Life expectancy: 50 to 75 years
Mating Rituals: Enslaved Pauagiwa are not permitted to be legally married, though secret ceremonies have been known to take place during which the couple would brand themselves with matching marks on the inside of the wrist that might go unnoticed by their masters. Due to them only recently being freed, Pauagiwa do not have traditions as such in terms of marriage, although from simple observance of the humans they may have a desire to emulate their traditions, marking themselves with a tattoo rather than a brand. They may remarry,, but they never remove the tattoos from previous marriages as they are a symbol not only of their love but the freedom they have which gave them the right to marry in the first place.
Relationship types: For a Pauagiwa there are two types of relationship, or love. 1: That between a male and a female. This is romantic love. Pauagiwa do not carry polygamous relationships. 2: The nonromantic relationship. This is often friends of the person. A pauagiwa will usually refer to people of this category who are of the same race as brother or sister.
Reproduction: same as humans
Race abilities:
song
Blend: blend into your surroundings, this hides you from most monsters and players for a certain amount of time. The higher Rank you get, the better you become.
When roleplaying this race, please keep in mind:
1. Your speech may be impaired due to improper teaching.
2. There are no arrogant Pauagiwa.
3. It is rare for a Pauagiwa to hate or get violent.
Songs:
the Pauagiwa songs are their main ability.
Before you can sing, you must choose a path.
To do this head to New Moscow on Maraquda and find the Pauagiwa called Siara. Type train
You will be able to choose between healing and harmful.
Note: This choice is permanent!
When you have chosen a path, you will have two songs set already.
You will be able to learn more songs once you have perfected your first song.
Note: The song called "a song to get on people's nerves" is an amusement, it does not contribute to below items.
To learn a new song, all of your other songs must be at 50 percent or higher in ability.
The more you use a song, the more experienced you get at it.
To learn more songs, go back to Siara and type train
The more people in the room at the time you sing a song, the more you get better at it.
You can type song list to see what songs you know.
Family names:
At first, your last name will look like this:
firstname out of lastname.
This means your name, followed by what family you managed to free yourself from.
See the Pauagiwa book for more info on families.
As a free Pauagiwa, you do not want to keep this name.
It is your job to find a player, of any race, and ask them to adopt you.
This is the Pauagiwa's ultimate goal.
To be a part of a family and to be loved.
When they agree, find a member of the Judge Advocate Generals and they will be able to carry out the adoption.
In terms of skills, Pauagiwa are particularly good with heavy work and manual lifting, but not as good with weapons due to their peaceful nature.
Unless set out otherwise in the policies or in the above file, a person can not be banned for incorrectly roleplaying a race. Nine times out of ten, the hosts will attempt to coach you onto the correct path.
