general help: the auctions

Introduction

there are four types of auction we have here on Cosmic Rage which have been described in brief detail below.
For further information on an auction, type help followed by the auctions name.

Short term auctions:

run by the Careheart family, the short term auctions are perhaps the most common.
They run for between 2 and 60 minutes and are where a lot with a maximum of 20 items is listed for fast pace bidding.
You will require a radio or advanced communicator for this type of auction.

Long term auctions:

Long term auctions are based out of the auction House on Diana and is for selling off anything from horses, to vehicles, to extinguishers.
These auctions can take up to a week. They are automatically reset after a week but also come with a buy now option.

Ship auctions:

The ship auctions are a collaborative project between Stargate Productions and The Ship Engineers.
In the commercial corner of your informational computer, you can sell your ship in two ways: scrap, which will sell it immediately for a certain price, or through the auction house, which will put the ship into the ship auction that lasts until someone bids for your ship. You will receive the bid amount minus a 15% fee taken by the engineers.
Note: Your ship must be in the hangars of the shipbuilding facility Omega 8 to be eligible for sale in this manner.

Factory auctions:

At the shipbuilding facility Omega 8, there is a room called Factory Auctions where you can sell your factory and receive the highest bid amount. The auction lasts until someone places a bid for the factory. If no bids are placed within 24 hours, the factory will be sold to the highest bidder.
