general help: planetary orbiting
This help file is about why planets and space stations on Cosmic Rage move. For help on getting a ship to orbit a planet, see shelp orbiting.
----------------------
in real life, a planet hurtles round a star at over a thousand miles an hour. This is true for the Earth you sit upon right now.
On Cosmic Rage, we have attempted to do this in game.
On our game we have stars.
Around these stars are planets.
In sectors where there are planets and a star, more often than not you will see that the planet moves around its star.
Some planets move quickly, others slow.
Some go in circles, others, ovals.
It is very realistic, and does require constant watching when landing.
