general help: megasuits

In any war there are, in particular, two main types of combat.
Offensive and Defensive.
In this, both ground and space combat could be considered either, though is mostly defensive, as you spend most of it defending one thing or another from the enemy.
to that end, it is not a far stretch of the imagination to think you could help in offensive combat and you would be absolutely right.
After the Embahi strangely, and for some unknown reason, retreated in 2492 from Sola Virtus Invicta, the allies took this opportunity to claim large parts of land and build a secret underground base to run missions from, rather than the previous, rather easy to enter camp they had before above ground.
This underground base, being underground, had many tunnels that seemingly went no where, and yet were guarded.
One such tunnel was revealed in December 2492, when the MI with the support of select high ranking officials unveiled their first ever civilian usable offensive system.
The Megasuit.
What is a megasuit?
the megasuit was a combination research and development project between high-ranking Ryuchi and Mutariansi scientists that was later funded by, and added to, by members of the cy-larkan race.
It is, in essence, a massive machine designed both to strike fear into the enemies hearts, and also to destroy their cities.
Picture a 50 feet tall humanoid robot with the ability to smash buildings and destroy anything in its path.
What is the purpose of a megasuit?
the purpose of a megasuit is, basically, to break things.
Megasuits are deployed into enemy cities like this.
Imagine the situation.
A new planet of the Vacus race has been discovered.
In come the SDL, guns blazing, and create an epic space battle that ends with an SDL ship in the middle, looking bossly and waving the "this is now our sector" flag.
Enter then, the Mobile Infantry. They go in, guns blazing, and take on ground and air defense.
The MI blast through the air defenses and generally take over the skies.
Once the SDL and MI have established that no further support can be gotten from space, the MI moves onto capturing cities, while the SDL perform bombing runs to ensure "resistance is futile!"
This is the first place where megasuits could come in.
Imagine another situation:
The SDL sweep in and blast everything to kingdom come, but then the lines moves on. A front has opened up in the enemies defenses and only by moving fast can the SDL and MI take advantage of the gap and storm forward. but what about this highly fortified position which could now open up a flank.
Enter, you in your mean, lean, fighting machine!
Sweet! So tell me, how do I get me a massive metal monstrocity!
First things first.
being designed by the Mutariansi, Megasuits are mentally controlled.
There are no buttons, dials, levers, screens or even a friendly chord for you to pull.
You control the megasuit, with your mind.
the drawback to this is that not even a dragon's brain is powerful enough to move one megasuit even a full step.
As such, each megasuit takes two people to control.
Don't panic!
You can own your own, just not drive it without a friend!
So, until you want to actually use it, the building process you can do all on your own..
