general help: gaining points and leveling up

In the world of Cosmic Rage, your progress is measured by many things but the most mechanical of these is ranks.
For OOC purposes, you can think of ranks like levels, and points like experience as they serve pretty similar functions within the game.
In the in game world, ranks define how experienced a pilot is at his job.
Ranks, as it were, are rather like the out of game version of a C.V. If a pilot heads over to an upgrade center and applies for an upgrade, his rank is the piloting way of him handing in a C.V. and saying this is all I have done and can do.
you obtain higher ranks by getting points.
Points, and ranks, are given by the Galactic Senate and when you rank up your origin is informed so that your friends can celebrate along with you.
there are many methods one can use to get points, some more obvious than others, here are a few:
1. Activities: Nearly all of the activities in the aHelp category will reward you points of some varying degree.
2. Missions: Doing combat such as destroying enemy ground, space and air will also get you points.
3. Roleplay: grab a friend and start writing out some emotes to get some sweet point gains. the more creative you are, the higher your gain!
Tip: bonuses are applied for more people and public locations!
