general help: The Never Ending Story

The never ending story is a unique thing that floats mysteriously from ooc location to ooc location. It was last spotted somewhere near Panaxes or Diana, or really, no where like that because it's OOC! Entirely blissfully OOC! So what is the never ending story you ask?
Well, it's an ooc social with extra on top. If you type it by itself, it just makes you tell everyone about how you want to tell the never-ending story but aren't doing so right now. If you social with it at someone, that's where it gets crazy.
If you're the current story teller, you can target someone who has random events on and whose idle time is less than three minutes. If they happen to answer that yes, they would like to tell the story with you, you will then be prompted to type one to three words to continue the story. Punctuation is definitely allowed. At that point, your social will appear on the channel in question, and they will get to see the story.
Occasionally, everyone on the game may get a chance to see the story if their random events are turned on, but other than that, the only way to see the story is to either tell it or be told it with the social. At the moment, there is no way to see the story at your whim, and this is by design. How else are you going to be spontaneous and awesome? The story was never meant to make any sense, and when it does, well, at the time of writing this I've yet to see it do so.
The never ending story is meant to be a Cosmic-wide story, so there are no plans to bring it to PNs, as sad as this might be.
The social will work on most Ooc channels with the obvious exclusion of Newbie and RP since those are serious channels. If the spam gets too crazy on OOC, it's advised to take it to the socials channel. After all, there is nothing wrong with discussing the story on OOC even if the socials are being passed around on soc where people not interested can turn off the channel. As always, respect people's wish not to be spammed, and most importantly of all, just have fun and keep raging on.
Notes from the developers: The never ending story is not always around. Look out for it when it appears. The hosts are not responsible for any bodily injury that may or may not occur to tomatoes whenever the story command is used. Viewer discretion is advised.
