general help: The MI and SDL channels

When sending commands on the MI and SDL channels there are a number of things you can do to interact with the world around you.
First, the sdl channel:
1. State enemy locations: this will tell you what sectors have enemies. You can also do: state enemy locations in : for more details.
2. Report on sector : this will tell you about mines in a sector.
3. Ask the jump ship where it is as you would on movement and missions with Jumpship, state your location.
4, mine sweeper for sector : calls a mine sweeper to a sector. For example, mine sweeper for sector 20

Now, the MI channel:
When someone is attacked in front of an MI patrol they will tell you about it over the channel.
When this happens, you can issue a number of commands.
First of all, lets see an example of what they might say:
This is unit L0020 of Navu, we have an incident, I7H, occurring at Healing Cave involving a dragon and a human. Awaiting orders.
To respond to this you'll need to get the code that corresponds with this attack. In this case, that's I7H.
Then you simply say on the MI channel:
Responding to : command.
The commands you can do are:
full report: gives a full report of the situation,
detain: cuffs everyone in the area,
cuff : cuffs someone in the area.
stand down: Orders everyone to be released and for the MI to stand down.
Important! the MI patrols will only detain people for ten minutes.
Here is an example:
MI responding to I7H, stand down.
