Connecting to The Official Cosmic Rage TeamTalk server
Cosmic rage is pleased to offer you the chance to chat and socialize with your fellow players on our official TeamTalk server!
If you do not already have the TeamTalk client, you can download it at http://www.bearware.dk.
To join:
Type @join-tt
Enter your desired password. You will have to do this twice with the same password.
Make a note of the random user name the system creates for you. We no longer use account names as TT account names, so you will need the one it gives you.
Next, head on over to your TT client and connect to:
cosmicrage.nathantech.net
ports, 10333
Be sure to set a nickname of some kind, so that you don't just show up as noname.
Use the account name that was generated for you, and your chosen password, to log in.
Please keep in mind that participating on our TT server is a privilege and not a right. Our policies for the moo also extend to our TT servers and it's channels. Please be respectful to other players when chatting, avoid discussions on metagaming and have fun!
if you wish to stream movies, music, or other long files, please use the streaming channel for this purpose.
After some consideration, we have decided to once again allow consoles on our teamtalk server. However, using a console to get around restrictions put in place on the server will result in a warning or a ban, depending on severity.
if you are using a mobile device you may also find Team Talk on the google play store, or the apple app store.
To see who is on team talk at the moment, type who teamtalk.
While on the server there is a channel called The Out of Character Channel. This channel is directly linkd to our OOC channel on the game and you can carry on conversations on this channel without being connected to the MOO as long as:
1. You are not banned from the OOC channel.
2. You have an account on our server, and the game itself.
Abuse of this system will result in your rites being revoked to the teamtalk server.
