general help: Resetting

What is a reset?

A reset is where your character vanishes. Essentially, in terms of rp, they are gone. They will never be seen again. There is not a limit on how many times you reset, but you may only reset once a month. If you are a donator please refer to the donating help file before you reset.

Types of Reset:

1. Full reset. your character is set to Rank 1. Everything you own in the game is destroyed. You start on a completely blank slate.
2. A partial reset. Your Rank is halved, your cash is halved, and everything else is refreshed.
With either of these options, your character will be gone forever. From a roleplay perspective, you may get rid of your character in any way you see fit.

How to reset:

To reset, you must type "reset." Once done, you will need to answer a few questions. These include an out-of-character reason for why you are resetting, so the hosts can understand your specific reasons; a confirmation to ensure you are fully aware of your decision; and finally, the most important one - a brief in-character explanation of your reset.
If you choose to provide an explanation and it is approved by the hosting team, your reset timer will be halved.
Additionally, if you opt to pay 1000 RP points in the next prompt after providing your reason, and your reason is approved by the hosts, the reset process will occur instantly. This allows you to bypass the waiting period and get back to enjoying Cosmic Rage without delay!

you may not reset unless:

1. You are over Rank `r50 or
2. You have not been playing the game for 3 months or more or.
3. A mistake has been made before rank `r50 and the hosts recognise this and approve a reset.
Please note, to avoid rage quit resets, where a player resets, and then regrets it, you can now abort a reset within 12 hours of typing the command. After 12 hours, the character will be reset.
You may only reset once a month, maximum. the hosts will not void this.
