A hatchling is one of Navu's most wonderous creatures one will encounter in the universe.
Outlined here is a simple guide for how to take care of one.

Hatchhling shivers

The Bain of most new parents' existence are the dreaded hatchling shivers. These are a result of a young dragon not having their internal fire yet. These result in the young hatchling shivering sometime violently.
Consequences for this can be fatal.
Luckily the treatment is fairly simple.

If you can breathe fire

If you are one who can breathe fire than simply breathe a small jet of flame over them. Not only will this warm them up but this serves as a bonding moment for parent and hatchling.

If you cannot breathe fire

If you are one who cannot breathe fire there is a method just for you.
First, purchase a brazier and a heating stone.
Second, fill the brazier with wood.
Third Place the heating stone into the lit brazier
Finally, massage the warmed stone all over the hatchling's body
This serves as a way to warm the hatchling and also bond.
Both methods above can be made fun and playful when the hatchling is older.

Dry skin

Sometimes a hatchling's skin under their scales can grow dry and rather itchy for the hatchling.
Luckily a simple hatchling oil can be purchased to remedy this issue.
Simply massage the oil into your hatchling's skin.

Fecal sacs

Rather than using diapers or other waist disposable methods dragons produce a sac filled with their waist and byproducts. The sacs can be easily thrown away.
There is a slight chance when dragon hatchlings are angry they can produce a large amount of flame. This can be devistating to all in a room. Be warned and mindful.

Commands

Warm: Produces a tongue of flame to heat up your hatchling
Fill: While using a brazier fills it with wood
"Heat: Heats up a heating stone in a brazier
Massage: With both oils and heating stones massages item over the hatchling's body
