general help: Boat Commands

There are quite a few commands for boats which are listed below:
First off, to move the boat use the numbers from 1 to 9, missing out 5. Think of it like a computer number pad, with 8 at the top to move you north, and 2 at the bottom to move you south. The numbers 4 and 6, located in the middle row, move you west and east. To go northwest, use the number 7, located at the top left corner, and to move northeast, use the number 9 at the top right corner. The numbers 1 and 3, located on the bottom left and bottom right corners, will move you southwest and southeast.
If your boat has the submarine upgrade, dash (-) will move you down, and the plus sign (+) will push you up.

Be careful! Going under a certain depth will cause your boat to cave in from the pressure. Boats are not what they used to be!

Commands from inside the boat:
cargo: See how much cargo you have.
charge: See how much charge your boat has.
chart: Glance at your charts to see where things are.
sonar: rather like scan on starships, the modern day sonar can ping into objects, returning their coordinates and image to the computer.
Build: Extend your boat into a big boat by adding a few rooms.
coords: Find out your current coordinates.
damage: Find out how much damage your boat has taken.
exit: Leave the boat.
Lifeboat: launches you into a small life boat which will bring you back to a safe area
moor: Tie the boat up. You must have ropes to do this.
recharge: recharge the boat. You must be moored to do this.
start: Start your boat.
unmoor: Untie the boat from the mooring.
shutdown: Shut down the boat.
rope: count how many ropes you have.

Commands from outside the boat:
board : Board your boat. This will only work if you are on a mooring with the boat.
check : Use this after diving off of your boat to check where your boat is.
climb : If you and the boat are in the water and you are at the same position, this allows you to board it.

To move the boat around planets, you will need a boat trolley. Type move onto trolley to load a boat onto the trolley, and to unload. for more information, see help boat trolleys.
To load a packet of ropes onto your boat, board the boat, then type resupply with .
