Tank combat

Where would a ground combat system be without tanks?
In any ground combat situation there can be three elements at play: Infantry, Mechanised and Air.
There are sometimes cross overs, the Droidic race certainly thinks so, but for the purposes of this file we shall assume three.
The infantry side of things would be the ground combat referenced in all the other files you have likely read by now.
the aircraft system can be read about in help aircrafts and is very realistic indeed!
for tank combat we have gone for a two stage approach.
the enemies will, as you might expect, deploy tanks in invasions to give you a bad day. to combat these mechanical menaces you have two options.

Option 1:

Join up with the MI and take part in using a tank of your own.
The Mobile Infantry tanks consist of a driver and gunners. the driver has the job of making sure the tank is facing the correct direction and tracking the target the crew wants to shoot.
To rotate the tank, the driver types rotate left or rotate right, shortened to r l and r r.
they type track to begin, or stop, tracking an enemy. The tank commander is also in charge of repairing the vehicle itself.
Turret gunners have a few commands available to them:
short: This fires the short ranged weapon and requires the gun be lowered. the short range weapon shoots in an ark, so if your target is west, and you are northwest, you will still hit it.
Type lower and raise to move the guns up and down.
Long: This will, if there is an exit, fire a missile at a target in aadjacent room.
Be careful: the MI are not the only tanks that can do this!
The turret gunenr is also responsible for maintaining the damage of his or her tank./
The main advantage of crewing up in an MI tank is the fire power you can bring to bare, while the second option gives you a little more freedom of movement and not so much worry about targeting directions, an MI tank can, when fully crewed, lay out a significant amount of damage while tanking (no pun intended) a lot in return!

Option 2:

If you're not in the military or you're the going it alone sort, the second option you have available is your battlesuit. battlesuits, unlike regular armour, have been specifically designed to allow allied soldiers to step up and go close quarters with a tank.
they have been specially armoured and fitted with anti-gravity modules to allow them to absorb or disipate the energy that is received from being shot at from smaller tank rounds. Battle suits are also fitted with guns whose purpose I am sure is quite obvious!
Battlesuits have a variety of weapons available to them that you can purchase, each with their own upsides and downsides so it is worth taking a look through them!
Battlesuit operation is easy as can be:
Simply find your target, and shoot it!
Valid targets for battlesuits are:
enemy tanks,
MI tanks
or other battlesuited players or enemies!
Note: Due to how inflexible they are, wearing a battlesuit will stop you doing normal ground combat while worn.
