Starting a Game

1. Get a game board.


1. Drop the board into your room.


1. Players join by typing: join


1. Once everyone has joined, start the game with: start




How the Game Works


At the start of each round, the game randomly selects a secret word (for example: hospital).
One player is secretly chosen as the Shape Changer.
The Shape Changer does NOT see the word.
All other players can see the word.



Taking Turns


On your turn, you have two options:

1. Submit a word.

Type: guess
Submit a word related to the secret word.
Example (if the word is hospital):
medical
doctor
ambulance
Your goal depends on your role:
Normal players: Give clues that clearly relate to the secret word so others understand.
Shape Changer: Try to blend in by giving vague or clever guesses that could match the wordwithout actually knowing it.

1. Make an Accusation

Type: accuse
When someone accuses, all players must vote on who they think the Shape Changer is.
Every player (including the accuser) submits their vote using: accuse



Winning the Game


If all players (except one) vote for the same person, the round ends.
Outcomes:

1. Players win if they correctly identify the Shape Changer.


1. Shape Changer wins if the group accuses the wrong person.




Extra Commands


View game info anytime: l .
Restart the game: reset .
Leave the game: leave .



Quick tip


If you're the Shape Changer, dont be too obviousbut dont be too random either. The sweet spot is plausible but vague.
