gadgets help: horses

Horses are one of the wonderful things on Cosmic Rage for people to spend some money on and really enjoy.
Cosmic Rage offers a wide-variety of colours, over 400 breeds, and lots of customizability when it comes to our equine friends.
Horses are purchased from the stables on Diana, Star Command, Temreth, Salura and Calira Dura**9*1.
To purchase a horse, simply head over to the stables and type purchase.
You can customise the following things during the creation of your horse:
name,
breed,
colour,
description,
height,
gender.
Taking care of your horse:
There are a number of things to consider when you are taking care of a horse.
First, food.
Horses can be fed once per hour, but will only get hungry once every 4 to 8.
they can go without food for a week before they will die, but they will die regardless if you are logged in or not.
To feed a horse, you will need a bag of grain and a bag of hay, both of which have different types to choose from.
These, like any other horsing item, can be purchased at the stables.
When you have the bags, you can either:
1. Type feed or to to feed it to your horse directly.
2. If you have a stables room in your ship, house or factory, you can type store and your bag of grain or bag of hay will be stored for later use.
Treats:
Horses can be given treats that are purchased from the planet stables with the command give to . The treats come in different options just like the hay and grain.
Water:
Just like real horses, cosmic Rage horses also require water.
If you leave your horse in a stables, he or she will drink automatically, providing you have filled up the trough.
If your horse gets over 20 percent thirst, he or she may try to buck you off.
To do this, get a hose, take it to the stables, and type use hose.
Hoses can be gotten by either renting them on landing pads, with the hose command, or by building them on factories.
If your horse hits 100 percent thirst, he or she will die.
Illness:
Horses, when travelling in starships, can often contract a disease known as starship sickness.
This occurs if a horse is not in stables when in a ship.
To get stables in your ship, you must buy the room extention, see the upgrades section on your info computer for finding out where to purchase that.
Stables have the following advantages:
1. If your horse is in the stables, and hungry, it will automatically try to eat the stored wheat.
2. They stop your horse getting ill.
If your horse does get ill, you will need to buy some medicine from the stables and give it to them.
This is done by simply handing the horse the bottle.
Looking pretty:
Another, but the final, thing to consider when you have a horse is grooming.
It is important for your horse to look nice and that is why you will need to purchase a brush.
Not only does brushing your horse make it feel good about itself, it also makes the horse look very nice!
Other customisable things about horses:
1. You can purchase a donator item to change its pet messages
2. Horses will randomly emote every 15 minutes in a room. They come with 9 by default, but more can be baught with the donator item.
3. The horses come with roughly 10 different walking styles for you to choose and experiment with. Styles will change according to the speed the horse is moving with.
4. You can buy a saddle for your horse. See horse commands below for how to get your horse to wear the saddle.
Full list of commands:
l horse: looking at the horse will show its description, its illness, its last feed time, and how well groomed the horse is.
rear : makes a horse rear up
pet : pet your horse
mount : ride your horse
dismount from : dismount from your horse.
purchase: In the stables, will purchase a horse.
sell horse: In the stables will allow you to sell a horse back.
move : Will tell your horse to take you somewhere. this command can be used once per five minutes.
note: If you do not regularly pet your horse, it may take you to the wrong place!
use : make a horse start to follow or unfollow you.
brush with : brush a horse and make it look good.
feed to : feed some wheat to your horse
store : store the wheat in the stables
give to horse: give your horse some medicine.
clean horse: washes your horse in a room with a hose.
Saddles:
Once you have purchased a saddle for your horse at the stable, the command to get the horse to wear it is: put on
Important! Do not give the saddle to your horse. It will not automatically wear the saddle, and you will have to get help getting the saddle back.
To remove the saddle, the command is unsaddle
Misc:
You can use "horse' or "pony" when targeting your horse with commands, depending on which you have purchased. Using their name is also allowed.
How to get a horse on a ship:
1. dismount it
2. Make it follow you with the use command.
3. board your ship.
4. Job done!
