gadgets help: Telephones

Variety, variety, variety.
That is what we are all about on this game, and that is only one of the reasons that telephones are indeed a thing.
Phones are bought on beacon stations, and are not only a great way for you to enhance your roleplay, but also the only way, other than mail, for people to get hold of you and leave you a message.
Phones also come with a massive array of features that make them well worth the purchase, especially for the roleplay factors!
Here are just a few things the telephones can do:
Make phone calls.
Hold contacts.
Send text messages.
Send pictures.
Find out where NPC's are.
Where do I get a telephone?
Telephones can be bought from a beacon station in any sector.
Note that by default, phones are worn around the neck on a lanyard which comes with the phone for free.
On beacon stations, you can purchase phone cases that allow the phone to be clipped to a belt.
To clip your phone into the case, type place . To get it out, type empty .
Phones can not be put in a container.
When you first activate your phone, you will be joined to the default network, Free Space.
You will receive the graduate price plan.
you may want to change this in your utilities menu.
Important! The phone networks will change their prices each week, so to make sure you have the cheapest, make sure you keep an eye on them!
Phone bills are taken once a month.
Note: When ringing NPC's, you can say: What can I ask you? to get their phone responses.
Commands:
answer : answer your phone
decline : Decline an incoming call.
hangup or end : Hang up a phone. you can also type: hangup in soft, hangup in slam, or hangup in sharp.
read : Read any unread texts you have.
ring on : Ring someone on your phone.
text ; text someone on your phone.
use : Access your phone's menus.
Note: The emergency services number is 555.
