Thank you for using Aurora Nova!
A New day in computing is about to begin!
This guide hopes to help you navigate some of the new features of Aurora Nova.
We will start by highlighting the dynamic home screen.
Gone are the days when you looked down and saw a clutterd mess of options on the screen. Aurora Nova automatically organizes your home screen, prioritizing online and offline applications.
If your starship moves out of range of the network, Aurora Nova will hide online applications until the network is in range once more.
Aurora Nova puts accessibility, privacy and personalization at your command with the new Settings panel.
From here, you can set a password and hint, toggle network access, and enable Text-to-speech for your device, all with a few clicks.
Note: The TTS function is experimental at the time of this writing and may not be compatible with all applications.
Security matters!
By password protecting Aurora Nova, you help ensure that only you have access to the information stored on your device. If you leave your device behind, on a train, or in a cafe, you can be sure your information is safe and secure.
By setting an optional password hint, you can help ensure that your password will never be forgotten.
The software you want, right when you need it!
Aurora Nova comes complete with a suite of online and offline applications which every pilot has come to know and love!
If that's not enough, Aurora Nova comes with a 60 synaptabyte application partition for you to install applications from developers across the universe.
it's Not our Aurora Nova , it's your Aurora Nova !
That's right, you can make Aurora Nova your very own by customizing it with applications in the Astral Apps marketplace, accessible from the home screen.
If 60 synaptabytes of storage is still not enough, you can visit any communications store and ask a technitian to expand it for you.

Love an application? Hate it? Let everyone know by giving it a rating or a review from within the Astral Apps intuitive interface.
Connectivity at your command!
Aurora Nova's power does not end at your device. With the most advanced technology at the heart of our newly upgraded network, Aurora Nova will connect you to your devices like never before.
Safety and Transparency!
To keep our network free from malicious actors, Aurora Nova uses cutting edge technology to prevent your information from falling into the wrong hands. All network activity is logged.
These logs are made available to you, free of charge.
You can review your outbound and inbound activity by visiting any local access node and logging into the terminal.
By reviewing this data, you can see which devices you have connected to and which connections have been made to devices you own within the past 30 days .
If you have a CL Drive (sold separately) you can download these logs for your personal use.
Aurora Nova makes all network activity logged within the past 30 days available to military officers and members of the JAG who might require these data in accordance with their duties.
