factory help: the factory auction

The factory auction is quite a fun and simple concept.
First, the factory auction is run on Ship Building Facility Omega 8.
There are two reasons a factory would be up for sale:
1. Its owner listed it as such or.
2. It was repossessed by the SDL and is now up for sale.
To list your factory, simply go to the auction house and type sell.
Bidding works in a rather interesting way:
First, place a bid by typing bid.
You can see what factories are for sale, how many people have bid, and some stats about the factories by typing list.
No one, accept you, knows what your bid is.
The factory auction for each factory ends when there has not been a bid for more than 24 hours, and someone has bid.
So if there were 5 bids on an auction, and the last was placed over 24 hours ago, the factory auction would end.
When the auction ends, the factory is awarded to the highest bidder.
An extra 5 percent charge is made by the auctionhouse to keep it running, payable by the buyer.
When a factory is sold that someone listed, the original lister is awarded the price.
Auction is checked after taxes are paid each day.
Note that the auction house does not care how much cash you have at time of bidding completion. Make sure you can afford the 5 percent on top of your bid.
the auction on a factory continues until there have been no bids in the last 24 hours, regardless of whether the last bidder is the highest or not. For the sake of fairness, you do not see what other people bid, meaning you pay what you think the factory is worth.
All participants of a factory auction are informed when it completes.
