factory help: factory shops
Factory shopsFactory shops are a great way for you to sell your customized craftables to your fellow pilots.
Commands are categorized into 2 types: Customer, and Owner.
For the purposes of this help file, an Owner is defined as a person authorized to the factory.
Customer commands:
Buy
List or Menu: See what's for sale.
View
Owner commands:
There is but one owner command and it is manage.
Manage: Brings up a dynamic menu of options which allow you to completely control your shop.
For your convenience, a breakdown of the Manage command and its options is provided below.
1. Add Stock - Add items to the shop's inventory.
2. Remove Stock - Remove items from the shop's inventory.
3. Set Discount - Apply a discount on selected items for a limited time.
4. Change Prices - Modify the prices of items in the shop.
5. Adjust Categories - Organize items into different categories within the shop.
6. Hire a Shopkeeper - Hire a shopkeeper to manage the shop.
7. Fire a Shopkeeper - Remove the currently hired shopkeeper from the shop.
8. Set Shopkeeper Messages - Manage messages displayed by the shopkeeper.
9. Manage Commercial Ads - Control the commercial ads for the shop.
10. Manage Business Hours - Set the shop's opening and closing hours.
11. Exit - Leave the shop management menu.
Additional notes:
This feature was designed to give you an intuitive and easy-to-use interface.
If you do not see one of the options listed above when you use the Manage command in your shop, do not worry. It just means that option does not apply at the current time. For example, you can not remove stock, if there is none. You can not close the shop if it is already closed.
