You are in the web view for viewing our Policies online in your browser. A policy is a set of rules on a particular topic layed out by the staff of the game which should be obeyed to ensure maximum smooth running efficiency of both information, enjoyment and the game itself.

Detailed below are the rules and regulations that relate to hosts.
A host is classed as a member of cosmic Rage staff who holds the rank of builder, coder, implementer or wizard.
Hosts pledge:
1. All information received by us relating to or while performing our duties on Cosmic Rage shall remain confidential and will not be given to, or discussed with, any person not of the Cosmic Rage hosting team.
2. Handle cases, reports and interactions calmly and professionally without political, religious, racial or other discriminatory biases.
3. To not pick or hold favorites and to value each player as an individual with no rank, status, preference or power above that which is held by someone else.
4. To deal with all cases, reports and problems calmly and objectively.
5. To be completely transparent with other members of the hosting team and as clear and concise with the players as would be allowed by rules of confidentiality and fairness.
6. To not disclose any information about a player, partner or member of staff without prior permission of said player, partner or member of staff.
7. to not use their abilities as a host to further advance their own characters, to unfairly aid their own character or to otherwise influence another player in any way.
8. To use any contacts, code, objects or concepts they gain during the course of their time as a host to further advance any projects unrelated and/or external to cosmic Rage without permission of the team itself.
9. To handle each case presented to them with fairness and clear judgment of character and mind.
10. To be open, encouraging and approachable to all users, problems and cases to the fullest extent they are able to.

Player obligations:
1. I pledge to comply with host investigations to the best of my ability.
2. I pledge to not use any out of game contact or knowledge I may have with or about a host to harass, irritate or compel said host into an action or actions.
3. I pledge to be civil to the staff. I do not have to like them I simply have to understand the power they hold and understand it will be used if I break the policies.
4. I pledge to use out of character links or public channels for conversations only and not to push for or ask about my reports, support tickets, suggestions, assists or feedback unless it is brought up first.
5. I understand that friendship with a host is a privilege, not a rite.
6. I understand that the hosts are extremely busy and while they will make time for me as soon as they can, it may not always be immediate.
